ETHIKA - Educación ética y en valores en escuelas y jardines de infancia - quiere fomentar habilidades de pensamiento crítico en los niños situándolo en el centro de una sencilla estrategia de enseñanza, de fácil implementación.


HoTEL project

The HoTEL project, with the support of the European Union’s FP7, is working to propose a new approach able to foster the adoption of innovative ideas in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL).

The HoTEL Support Action aims to contribute to more effective, holistic and faster innovation cycles in European TEL that can be replicated in the future.

The two main goals of this international project are:

INTUITEL: Intelligent Tutoring Interface for Technology Enhanced Learning

INTUITEL is a research project co-financed by the European Commission with the aim to advance state-of-the-art e-learning systems via addition of guidance and feedback for learners. Through a combination of pedagogical knowledge, measured learning progress and a broad range of environmental and background data, INTUITEL systems will provide guidance towards an optimal learning pathway. This allows INTUITEL-enabled learning management systems to offer learners automated, personalised learning support so far only provided by human tutors.


Open Discovery Space

Open Discovery Space es un proyecto del programa CIP-ICT-PSP.2011.2.4 (e-learning), con un coste total de 15.32millones de euros. Su objetivo es servir como un acelerador de la puesta en común, adopción y uso de la ya rica base existente contenidos educativos.

VISIR project – "Vision, Scenarios, Insights and Recommendations“

The VISIR project – "Vision, Scenarios, Insights and Recommendations“ is the initiative of seven European networks one research centre and one University involved in the open, distance and e-learning field. It aims to develop a shared vision on how ICT may help making lifelong learning a reality.

Many such visions have already been elaborated. We trust that the strength of VISIR is that it is based on real-life scenarios and insights and built with a bottom-up approach, involving relevant stakeholders in the field.

UPCARING - UPgrading CAre service with INnovative skills certification, e-learning and matchinG system - is a project funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme.

Its ultimate goal is to offer home care workers (HCW) the opportunity to see their competences recognized and to improve their professionalism through an expressly designed e-learning system.



LLWINGS is a European project aimed at promoting a new vision of school as the bridge to lifelong learning and active citizenship, through a focus on learning to learn competence and joy to learn as the very WINGS for lifelong learning.



‘Taxistars’ designs and develops innovative, ICT-based educational material for professional taxi-drivers, taking under consideration the training needs and the special characteristics of the profession.

The role of Taxis in the European urban and semi-urban environments is crucial: they are a fast and flexible transportation mode and they enhance mobility.



The Ethos project targets primary and
pre-primary school teachers and offers them an
outline for ethical education and questions. Its main motivation arises out of the recognition that the challenges that Europe is facing are not merely economic or political, but also societal, cultural and especially ethical.
