Alecop is a cooperative part of the Mondragon Group, the biggest industrial cooperative group (>245 multi sector independent cooperatives) in the world with more than 105.000 employees and 16 Billion Euros turnover. The Mondragon Group also includes a Knowledge Division with 13 Technological Centres and a University with 4 faculties. The core activity of Alecop is to design, to develop, to manufacture and to sale didactic technical equipment targeted to technical vocational training users. The main knowledge areas addressed are Electricity, Electronics, Automotive and Mechanical manufacturing. The design, management and execution of complete educative and formative projects with foreign clients are one of the areas of major growth. The areas of research for the last years have been focused on developing new tools for learning and management of teaching based on ICTs in order to answer the challenges of more flexible training programmes.
